CAB is a private gallery and art centre located on Brussels’ Rue Borrens St dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of Belgian and international contemporary art through a mix of exhibitions and residencies. The centre’s visual identity, website, stationery and opening night invitation, based around a simple geometric logo-type and craft green colour palette, was created by graphic design studio Codefrisko.

Built from a single consistent line weight, geometric shapes, plenty of space, uppercase characters and square terminals, the logo-type sets a clear and contemporary tone while the additional internal strokes of the ‘A’ introduce an architectural sensibility that mirror the exposed steel work of the gallery space and neatly represent the union of multiple exhibitions under one structure. The interior of the building has also been distilled into the visual identity, printed collaterals and website through a simple monochromatic colour palette paired with a pale green that introduces a restrained but distinctive art and craft-like quality.
