Packaging: Mystify Premium Tea

I was lucky enough to be part of the conceptualisation stage for this project delivering the above packaging and branding work.
Based around the mystifying nature of Egypt, I took the pyramid shape and used it to build various patterns finally settling on a larger triangle with each smaller triangle representing the various flavour elements of the teas. These were quite exotic in nature and I used this direction to drive the typography and iconology. The physical packaging was specified as an uncoated Colourplan embossed pristine substrate box with a die cut outer sleeve ‘revealing’ the pyramid beneath which appears across two sides giving it more dimension.
The type selection, Trajan Pro gives it a classic appearance and ties in well with the theme, it’s partnered with a script typeface to suggest the exotic twist in the product range. A number of patterns were designed for various applications as well as colour schemes to capture the variety of infused flavours in each teabag.

This is STUNNING! Really love it
Thanks Melissa, I was really excited when I came up with the idea and the design consultancy was pleased too, unfortunately the client wasn’t so happy. Here is the other variety – http://www.richardbaird.co.uk/Mystify.jpg
