T In The Park is a weekend of live music established in 1994 and set up in a disused airfield near Balado, Scotland. Named after the key sponsor, Tennets, the BBC (due to advertising restrictions) needed to independently brand the televised coverage of the event and approached Glasgow based studio Graphical House to develop an alternative identity.
This identity has a well resolved simplicity that stands out against the chaos of over animated and brightly coloured TV coverage of other music festivals marking it out as something quite different. The TP monogram built from a series of spiralling concentric squares has an interesting and modulating weight characteristic that changes depending on its applications. The type choice compliments the form of the logo-mark and while slightly unusual in its alignment feels very modern and experimental within the two lock-ups. The animation, through its continual wrapping motion fosters a sense of journey and shared experience adding a layer of depth and conceptual weight to this flexible and dynamic identity.

Sorry but this reminds me far too much of one of my personal favs http://www.thethreethreads.com/
Yeah that is pretty similar, really like the three layers of the ‘T’ logo-mark.
