The stores identity, designed by Joe Hinder working at Hike Design, blends a classic serif logo-type, a striking bright orange, black and cream colour palette, the tactile qualities of a stamp, canvas bag and uncoated substrate with a full bleed illustrated shop front across the business cards that together deliver a sense of tradition and locality but with a contemporary simplicity and functionality.
Visit the BP&O Logo Gallery for a chronological guide to all the identities reviewed on BP&O.

Nicely done, it really captures that “sense of tradition” as you say. Did you mean to say “serif logo-type” (as opposed to sans serif)?
And did you create a stamp for the punch cards?
Looks great!
Thanks for catching that mistake Travis!
It does appear that there is an ‘s’ stamp for the loyalty card (another nice asset), but for clarification this isn’t my work, BP&O is a review projects from other designers (and very occasionally mine). As mentioned in the intro this piece was created by Joe Hinder and Hike Design.
Thanks Travis, the stamp was produced for the loyalty cards and the coffee cups in orange.
