Kumuka (meaning ‘the beginning of a journey’) is a travel company established in 1983 that provides over 450 different trips for adventurous families and group parties. They operate tours in over 75 countries with a mission to provide people with the opportunity to “experience their holiday to the maximum”. This week sees the introduction of their new logo designed to better capture the adventure and diversity of the trips they provide.
Sunchips is a multi-grain crisp product of Frito-Lay based in New York (and owned by PepsiCo) which was launched back in 1991. In 2009 Sunchips were introduced as the first crisp product to use compostable packaging into the market. Unfortunately in October 2010 these came under scrutiny as a large number of complaints emerged stating that it was overtly loud, Frito-Lay responded by pulling all the but their original flavour.
A number of news sites are reporting a change to Googles Chromium source code that contains a new logomark. Although not confirmed this is certainly an improvement and moves it away from the bright shiny robotic Manga ball and towards a more restrained geometric, abstract disk.
