Jealous Sweets is a gelatine and gluten-free confectionery range made with natural fruit juices and no artificial flavours or colours. Design agency B&B studio were recently commissioned to develop a new visual identity and packaging solution for the range that would focus more on its premium position and purity of ingredients. Developed under the theme of ‘covetable candy’ – “a concept that we visualised using a precious jewel icon and a characterful Magpie with an eye for something special”, B&B’s solution juxtaposes classic flourishes and plenty of unprinted space with bright contemporary colour and illustrative detail.
Launched by natural chewing gum brand Peppersmith, Tingz is a new, two flavour confectionary range that uses Xylitol, a natural wood sugar, to add plaque reducing properties to the sweets. Developed by London-based B&B Studio the packaging for Tingz builds on the quirky personality of the Peppersmith brand by illustrating two wide-mouthed characters, a contrasting white and bright colour palette and subtle texture to establish a healthy but flavourful quality that reflects the natural, dental improving proposition of the sweets.
NB Flowers is a florist – founded by Neil Birks and located at London’s New Covent Garden Market – that specialises in corporate and private events, delivering value through a combination of ‘beautiful flowers, creativity, and a personable service’.
Multi-disciplinary design agency Karoshi were commissioned to ‘rebrand and reposition NB Flowers as one of London’s leading luxury event florists and capture the essence of the brand – classic with a contemporary twist’. In response the agency created a visual identity solution that, through a serif monogram, sans-serif by-line, purple and white substrates and a block foil print finish, delivers a simple and consistent communicative contrast that successfully draws out the organic detail of the photography utilised across NB’s collateral and website.
