Branding, logotype and beer mats for Helsinki based beer bar Bier Bier by Finnish graphic design studio Tsto

Bier Bier is located on the ground floor of a striking Art Nouveau building in the centre of Helsinki, and part of The We Are Group, alongside wine bar Vin Vin, restaurant Story and wine importer and wholesaler Viinitie. It has over 100 different types of beer and an interior of dark wood panels and carved frames, ocean green walls, light wood tiled flooring, tan and dark leather upholstered furniture, exposed bulbs and copper detailing. Bier Bier also features a new brand identity created by graphic design studio Tsto, which included custom typography and extends across coasters, neon and backlit signage.

Bottura by Foreign Policy, Singapore

Branding for Singapore based Italian restaurant Bottura by graphic design studio Foreign Policy

Bottura is an Italian restaurant and food store with space in Singapore’s Suntec City Mall. It has a contemporary interior of exposed utilities painted black, white suspended ceiling and surfaces, dark wood and steel furniture, glass, concrete and steel counters, warm spot and low-hanging lights and an open kitchen working from authentic family recipes rooted in the owner’s hometown of Bologna. This interior is punctuated by a bright, high contrast and convivial brand identity, developed by graphic design studio Foreign Policy, informed by the restaurant’s fusion of tradition and modernity, and extending across menus, coasters, packaging and signage.

Borders Railway Opening Celebrations by KVGD, United Kingdom

Branding for Borders Railway Opening Celebration by Glasgow based graphic design studio KVGD

Borders Railway is 30 miles of new track, built largely upon the old Waverley Line, that runs between Edinburgh and Tweedbank within the Scottish Borders. Its commissioning saw the end of a fifty year wait for train services to be reinstated in the region and is the longest new domestic railway to be constructed in Britain for over 100 years.

The line was opened by Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, on September 6th, and was marked by a journey from Edinburgh, aboard a steam engine, and by the unveiling of a plaque at Tweedbank station.

Stark Events commissioned Glasgow based graphic design studio KVGD to develop a visual identity for the opening of the railway. This included logo design, commemorative brochure, tickets, plaque and brand guidelines, and also extended to badges, flags, tote bags and banners.
