Logo, branding and print by London-based studio Spy for catering business H+J

H+J is a UK independent catering business, established in 2004, that has provided food and catering solutions to venues such as The Cutty Sark, Moët & Chandon, Abbey Road, RIBA and Selfridges. Their services include working lunches and private dining rooms, large scale food courts, cafes and deli bars. London-based graphic design studio Spy worked with H+J to develop a new brand identity that would better express their growing ambitions and help them stand out within a highly competitive industry. This included logo design, still life photography, tone of voice, stationery, business cards, packaging and website design.

Sant Francesc by Mucho, Spain

Brand identity by graphic design studio Mucho for Spanish 5-star hotel Sant Francesc.

Sant Francesc is a 5-star hotel located in the Placa Sant Francesc, beside the Church of the Templarios, within the city of Palma on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The hotel is set inside the walls of a restored historical landmark built in a neoclassical style during the 19th century and has 42 rooms and suites. Some of these rooms include wood-beamed ceilings, original frescos and moldings but also feature modern renovation, furnishings and interior design.

Drawing on the symbol of the Templarios, and taking inspiration from the colours and textures of the island, design studio Mucho developed a brand identity for the hotel that conveys something of its modern urban interior, its history and location. This comes through in type and marque, colour and pattern, and in the variety and combination of materials across brochures, stationery, business cards, menus and signage.

Suomen Jäätelö by Werklig, Finland

Brand identity and package design by Helsinki-based Werklig for Finnish ice cream brand Suomen Jäätelö

Suomen Jäätelö is a super-premium ice cream brand currently available in five flavours and a sorbet. These include Milk, Pistachio, Vanilla and Chocolate made from Finncattle milk, a Rhubarb sorbet and Spruce created in collaboration with iconic furniture maker Artek. Although ice cream is internationally ubiquitous, Suomen Jäätelö is described as having a distinctively Finnish character. This is expressed throughout its brand identity, developed by Helsinki-based Werklig, in its balance of unique structure, use of space and pattern, modern logo, type contrast, and a still life approach to art direction.

Logo, stationery and packaging by Anagrama for Lausanne-based independent food and speciality supermarket Helvetimart

Helvetimart is a supermarket in the Swiss city of Lausanne. It offers a broad range of groceries and high-quality Swiss specialities sourced from across the country. The supermarket also holds daily tastings and workshops, has an informed staff and a tablet-based service the gives shoppers access to information on the Swiss cantons and their products. Drawing on regional flags and antique architecture, Mexican graphic design studio Anagrama developed a brand identity for Helvetimart that, through a strong favour for colour and form language, delivers significant impact for an independent store, draws a modern system from historic structure and touches upon the regionality of its products.
