The Stow Brothers is an estate agent working within the area of Walthamstow, a place where urban London meets the Epping Forest, and is described by the estate agent as a rapidly expanding community of like-minded people looking for a place with a strong sense of community, plenty of culture, good food and a decent pint.
UK-based graphic design studio Build worked with The Stow Brothers to develop a new brand identity—which went on to include monogram, stationery, business cards, website, copywriting, sale, sold and to let by boards, with assets created by local trade, craftsmen and artists—that reflected their love for the area and would distinguish them from the other estate agents operating in the same postcode. The identity was expanded upon later in the year to include a mini exhibition and a distinctive direct mail campaign in support of the nearby Wetlands project.
Nine Smith Street is the latest residential property project from Neometro, a company that describes itself as having a reputation as Melbourne’s most design-focused development group and recognised as one of the first holistic design and construction businesses in Australia. Neometro are dedicated to creating architectural buildings that are beautiful, functional and timeless, and have a sense of place and belonging. Neometro’s brand identity and that of its Fitzroy property Nine Smith Street, designed by Studio Hi Ho, effectively uses colour, type and substrate contrast to establish a solid foundation from which to communicate a variety of future property projects. It also reflects a design aesthetic rooted in a modernist heritage and the company’s commitment to new textures, finishes and materials.
Alphabeta is an extensive property redevelopment project, designed by architects Studio RHE and located in London’s Finsbury Square, that is described as the latest architectural expression of the ‘new economy’. Due to open in late 2014 and managed by Resolution Property, the project will reconfigure a ‘substantial landmark building’ to create a new standard in contemporary work environments for the creative and technology sectors. The space will feature large cycle entry points down to secure storage and changing facilities in the basement, chill-out zones, roof-top bars and a lofty atrium.
Design studio Village Green were commissioned by Resolution Property to develop a brand identity solution for Alphabeta which included logotype and print brochure design, short film, signage, website and a marketing environment that houses a gallery space, video projections, architectural model design, way-finding system and wall graphics.
