Logotype by Village Green for Finsbury Square property redevelopment project Alphabeta

Alphabeta is an extensive property redevelopment project, designed by architects Studio RHE and located in London’s Finsbury Square, that is described as the latest architectural expression of the ‘new economy’. Due to open in late 2014 and managed by Resolution Property, the project will reconfigure a ‘substantial landmark building’ to create a new standard in contemporary work environments for the creative and technology sectors. The space will feature large cycle entry points down to secure storage and changing facilities in the basement, chill-out zones, roof-top bars and a lofty atrium.

Design studio Village Green were commissioned by Resolution Property to develop a brand identity solution for Alphabeta which included logotype and print brochure design, short film, signage, website and a marketing environment that houses a gallery space, video projections, architectural model design, way-finding system and wall graphics.

41 Birmingham is a boutique apartment development in Alexandria, a suburb undergoing a renaissance in the south of Sydney. What began as the manufacturing centre of the colony of New South Wales is being transformed into a thriving hub of Sydney’s clever, artisan economy.” Surry Hills based graphic design studio Garbett, formerly Naughtyfish, were “engaged to create the marketing campaign which comprised of the visual identity, brochure, website, print & digital advertising, art direction, styling and together with SJB architects, the design of the display suite.”

Sans-serif logotype for property developer T38 and and architecture workshop Taller 38 designed by Savvy

Developer Taller38 and multidisciplinary workshop T38 – a studio made up of architects, artisans, carpenters, painters and welders – work together to develop architectural pieces and real estate projects that are described by Savvy – the agency behind their new logo, stationey and website – as a “benchmark of high quality” that aims to “uplift the style and quality of life of the people” who live there.

Savvy worked with both businesses to create an identity based around modularity, grids, a dynamic sans-serif logo-type and a blue and red tinted photography that would, whether superimposed or isolated, compliment or divide the two synergetic entities.
