Last week Glasgow-based design agency Graphical House launched their new website which included some more shots of their branding work for MYB Textiles, a lace manufacturer located in Newmilns, Ayrshire that has a history dating back to the 1920’s. Based around a reinterpretation of the company’s monogram, new art direction and simple, tactile, material choices, Graphical House created a visual identity solution that draws on the heritage of the factory and gives it a contemporary polish and humanistic dimensionality.
The Shilling Group is an Scottish independent pub operator that owns and runs the Edinburgh venues: Carriers Quarters, The Pond and Bar Kohl. The group commissioned creative agency Touch to develop a name, visual identity and an on-line presence that would be simple, timeless and trustworthy.
Launched in 2006 Little Black Book is a printed guide for the advertising industry to share new ideas and was brought on-line in 2009 with the inclusion of new features such as e-newsletters, job boards and show reels. This year sees the launch of a new visual identity, created by Glasgow based interdisciplinary design agency Berg now Freytag Anderson, which takes a simple and literal visual approach to frame a broad variety of content.
