Collective is a new Istanbul based agency that is described loosely by Hey, the design studio behind its brand identity, as producing content, communication and design work. Its has an ideology, like the name suggests, based around a collaborative approach, developing projects with an extended network of people with a variety of skills. Hey recently created an visual identity treatment for the agency that draws its distinctive character and impact from a contrast of type detail, type size and colour, as well as good quality materials and print finishes.

La Taverna Del Suculent is a traditional kitchen and table-less bar in the Spanish city of Barcelona. It serves homemade dishes and is described as the “next door restaurant”, a place for those looking to avoid cotton napkins and pretentious waiters, and are happy to settle for vermuth, la caña and cheese.

La Taverna Del Suculent’s brand identity, designed by Comité, respects and draws on many of the characteristics and design assets from the original restaurant, whilst introducing what the studio describe as a blackguard touch. This is visualised through a bright red ink, uncoated and unbleached boards, white porcelain dishes, traditional pottery and classic glassware, a new stamp inspired by bullfight graphics, as well as a simple diamond pattern, retro order book and hand painted signage. The treatment takes many well-established typographical details of the past, subtle cultural references and executes these with a contemporary restraint, quality and consistency. The project included business cards, coasters and menus.

Buena C is an event planning agency, founded by Carolina Arjones, with offices in Madrid and Alicante. The agency provides both individuals and businesses with exclusive, individualised and detail orientated event consultation and organisation services that include, but are not limited to, sourcing locations, photographers, catering, stationery, transportation and accommodation for presentations, conventions and weddings. Alongside event planning the agency also offers interior design and decoration assistance. Buena C’s brand identity, recently created by Madrid based design studio Tres Tipos Gráficos, conveys the individuality and craft of their approach through a variety of type, uncoated material choices and print finishes.
