Fisix is a line of cosmetic products that includes shower gels, shampoos and hydrating skin balms, developed by four marathon running friends who ‘couldn’t find a range that met their needs as sportsmen’, branded and packaged by multidisciplinary design agency Mucho.
Mucho’s design solution unties the diagrammatic, geometric forms and typographical, sans-serif utility and neutrality of the pharmaceutical and sports science industries with the subtle fashion and on-trend design sensibilities of a tightly spaced, lowercase serif logo-type, italics, and a flat, economical, unisex grey and pastel colour palette. A smart balance of formulated effectiveness and the more exclusive, restrained qualities associated with high fashion and professional cosmetics.
Ascari Enoteca is a new Italian restaurant situated on Queens Street East, Toronto, Canada and named after the proprietors hero, Formula 1 legend, Alberto Ascari, (who was also known for his love of food). To reflect both the passion for good simple food and racing, independent brand design agency Blok developed an identity that fuses the visual sensibilities and photography of 1950’s motor sport with a simple roundel and typographic logo-mark.
Roc Noir is a UK ’boutique’ retailer of high quality Ski equipment, that mixes knowledge, service and hand selected products for sport enthusiasts. Their identity, designed by London based brand and design consultancy 400, takes its cues from rock carved letter-forms and marries this with bold geometric forms to resolve and emphasise the personal service, quality and utilitarian nature of the brand.
