Following a recent url change, international design agency Pentagram, lead by partner Michael Bierut, created a new visual identity and packaging solution ‘that would help establish Nuts.com as a distinctive brand’. Based around a bright and distinctive colour palette, organic, heavy line-weight character illustrations (their hidden arms giving them a childlike cheek but innocent personality), a loose, ‘hand rendered’ proprietary typeface alongside an uncoated unbleached material choice, the design solution successfully mixes the playful, conversational and tactile to capture the brand’s youthful, personal and wholesome sensibility.

Their latest range of dry, light and sweet ciders, branded and packaged by Helsinki based design studio Bond, working in collaboration with Stina Persson, were developed to have ‘a strong shelf impact with natural and pure design which stands out from competitors green bottles’.

The brand approached London-based agency Designers Anonymous who, utilising a simple leaf/arrow device to communicate fresh and fast, developed a complete visual identity system that included packaging solutions, interior design, POS, uniforms and signage.

As part of an expansion to their product range, Canada based brand design agency Subplot, who were responsible for re-branding and packaging Level Ground’s previous lines back in 2010, have created the packaging for their new dried fruit and sugar products utilisng new materials and visual devices to reinforce the brand’s key propositions.
