Boxed Water is a sustainable water, art and philanthropic project that delivers the plastic bottle experience through an alternative and more environmentally conscious carton-based structural design. Independent graphic designer and illustrator Salih Kucukaga, was recently commissioned by Southern California based coffee bar brand Dripp to develop a custom adhesive label treatment that would wrap the Boxed Water carton and create a co-branded product experience. CAPI is an Australian producer of premium carbonated fruit juices, mixers and mineral waters. Willow is a brand of spring water sourced and bottled in the English Lake District. Following its recent acquisition by entrepreneur John Halewood and in lou of a fresh marketing push, the brand received a new packaging and brand treatment managed by Manchester based freelance designer Kirsty Mcmaster to better represent the quality, unique characteristics and origin of the water.
Ramlösa is a range of premium restaurant mineral waters named after the region of Ramlösa Brunnspark, Sweden and owned by Danish brewery Carlsberg. Stockholm based design studio Nine was tasked with developing a low-cost packaging alternative to their current glass design that would retain the premium nature and favourable perception of the brand but with a PET material resolution.
Gauthier released a limited run of glass water bottles to its clients earlier this year with an environmental message to choose glass over plastic. What is striking is the packaging’s minimal/maximal design, taking a simple white rectangle and imparting a strong and inspiring visual message on the interior walls.
