Mercer Supply Co. is a barbershop, salon and retailer that provides high-end grooming goods and services to the modern man and woman of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The salon has an interior design of polished concrete flooring, exposed trusses, Edison bulbs, panels of wood, leather furniture and waxed denim aprons. It is thoroughly current in its mix of the hardwearing, utilitarian and the traditional. This is also expressed throughout its brand identity, designed by Tennessee studio Peck & Co., using type, illustration, material choice and print finish across bags, notecards, stationery, business cards, swing tags, coasters, tissue paper and website.

Brand identity and package design by the London office of Bond for new Scandinavian lifestyle brand A. Andreassen

A. Andreassen is a new Scandinavian lifestyle brand that brings the high quality and longevity expected of handmade shoes and the values and ideals associated with Scandinavian design to slippers. These are characterised by their simplicity, practicality and elegance, and their balance of traditional craft and contemporary design.

A. Andreassen recently worked with the London office of graphic design studio Bond to develop a brand identity and packaging treatment rooted in its Nordic approach and Scandinavian heritage, and would communicate quality and a natural sensibility. The project also included triplex business cards, tissue paper, boxes, brochure and web design.

A-TO-B by Stockholm Design Lab, Sweden

Brand Identity, print and signage for Scandinavian retailer and bag specialist A-TO-B by Stockholm Design Lab

A-TO-B is a retail destination dedicated to all things travel. It curates and sells smart practical products for the modern traveller, complimented by insight and advice. Whether it be an around the world trip or the daily commute, a preference for small private labels or well-known bag brands, A-TO-B has it covered.

Venue Retail Group—owners of A-TO-B and over 150 shoe, bag and accessory stores throughout Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden—approached Stockholm Design Lab to work on naming, strategy and brand identity, and to develop a new and refreshing retail experience.

Although this project went out towards the end of last year, Stockholm Design Lab have kindly been in touch with new images. These document the extent of the project, include shots of product cards, packaging, posters and tags, and take a better look at the adaptable system that links these.
