Working with manufacturers in Italy, Korea and Taiwan EDL provides high pressure laminates for architects and interior designers throughout Asia, and is dedicated to anticipating trends, adopting the latest technologies and introducing its own break-through innovations that amome from a decade of industry experience.

To coincide with EDL’s tenth anniversary, and a push further into the international market, the company worked with Singapore and New York based graphic design studio Bravo to help reimagine its visual identity. This included logo design, business cards, magazine cover, brochure and website that position EDL as curators of high-quality raw materials to artists through brightly coloured geometric patterns, silver block foil detail, material texture, and a paper craft component. Strategy Thinking™ is an ongoing self-published series from New Zealand, Australia and Tokyo based graphic design studio Strategy. It provides the studio with a concise and compelling platform to showcase their work, communicate how they help their clients, and convey the insight and creative thinking that unites their five studios. The series also includes in-depth case studies and articles.

The latest edition looks to unravel some of the challenges that come with taking a brand to the international market. Features include insight into cultural sensitivities and the universal rules for international business, alongside case studies that cover Strategy’s work for Bryan Pearson and The Arts Foundation, amongst many others.

Prospectus / undergraduate guide for The University of Sydney by graphic design studio Maud, Australia

Although The University of Sydney is recognised as the oldest university in Australia, one steeped in history, it has, more recently, suffered from a decline in its rank and the perception that it is unwilling to adapt to a changing, increasingly competitive and well-branded educational landscape. In response to this the university worked with Surry Hills based graphic design studio Maud to reposition it in a way that would bet­ter reflect its for­ward think­ing nature and pion­eer­ing spirit. This was achieved through a diverse typographical approach to communication, bound by a limited colour palette and applied to undergraduate guides, posters, brochures and website.
