Established in 1989 and originally located in New York, Macbeth Media Relations is a London based specialist PR agency that delivers ‘individually tailored strategies’ to a small but international roster of singers, musicians, composers and promoters of classical music. Their new visual identity, created by independent design agency This Is Studio, is a nice mix of simple shapes, grid based collateral layouts, utilitarian type, hand finishes and a craft colour palette that works well to contrast and represent a systematic but personal approach.
Size is the independent label of Swedish house DJ, record producer and one third of the Swedish House Mafia Steve Angello. The label’s new visual identity, created by ‘supermodernist’ design agency Face, moves it away from a saturated club aesthetic by appropriating some of the qualities of the fashion industry.
Trap is a East Sussex (UK) based independent recording studio releasing music from artists such as The Drug Models Love and Ursula Points. The label’s new identity, developed by Red Design, mixes a bold typographical choice and a playful logo-mark that together appears contemporary in its simplicity and literal in its ideation.
