Passport is an independent Leeds based brand identity and print design studio founded in 2012 by Jonathan Finch and Rosalind Stoughton. The studio’s approach is informed by international destinations and design culture, and looks to create thoughtful and effective visual identities that strike a balance between classic and contemporary aesthetics, and crafted and unconventional material choices and print processes. This philosophy is reflected in a revised brand identity treatment, designed to coincide with the studio’s second anniversary, that included new business cards, stationery set and responsive website.
KVGD is a Glasgow based graphic design studio run by Kerr Vernon that works within the fields of brand identity design and print, has a ‘be nice, do good work’ philosophy, and a reputation for producing engaging, thoughtful and crafted projects. The studio’s client base is diverse, local and national, and includes businesses such as gallery, event and creative workspace The Whisky Bond, eco-friendly goods co-op Greencity Wholefoods and the restaurant Ox and Finch. KVGD recently implemented a new visual identity treatment which included logo, duplex business cards, promotional booklets and website that, through brightly coloured papers, type from New Zealand foundry Klim, letterpress print finish and open stitched detail, draws out the crafted nature of the the studio’s work.
Smartheart is an independent Moscow-based brand design and advertising agency that creates unique work groups for each project allowing them to draw from a variety of disciplines including architecture, music, film and public art, and describe their solutions non-standard and effective.
“We are conservative innovators. We apply new techniques and technologies, experimenting, but eliminating all that is not conducive to the disclosure of the idea embodied in the project. Priorities for the Agency: Living Identity (dynamical systems of visual identification), Ambient & Public Art (non- standard media, advertising media, monumental public art advertising) and Regional Branding (branding and positioning of cities and regions).”
