STRP brings together art, technology and experimental pop culture, and connects these to a broad audience, and through its light art, interactive art and robotic performances, lectures, workshops, music and film events, offers a glimpse into the future. This culminates with the STRP Biennial, an indoor art and technology festival that provides visitors with an opportunity to experience the extent to which new technology reaches into popular culture, the arts, and their everyday lives. This year’s biennial took place in Eindhoven, hosted over 29,00 guests, and featured a visual identity created by graphic design studio Raw Color which covered a variety of print communication including brochures, posters and business cards.

Basement Theatre is an independent, underground, community theatre located on Auckland’s Lower Greys Avenue. It was established in 2008 as a place to showcase new voices, fresh perspectives and emerging young talent, and to provide these with the space to develop their performances. The theatre has played host to dancers, visual artists, poets, musicians, comedians and everything in between.
Taking their cues from the unique basement location, and a brief that called for a bold, playful and edgy identity, Studio Alexander built a system around a simple but smart logotype with a step component, the impact of fluorescent inks, tinted photography, rotalics and plenty of contrast.

Botanico Culiacan is a 10 acre botanical garden, designed and built by Tatiana Bilbao in 2012, and located in the city of Culiacán, México. The garden is dedicated to conservation, eduction and botanical investigation, plays host to a variety of cultural events and is home to a contemporary art collection commissioned specifically for the space.
Botanico Culiacan’s latest installation, James Turell’s Encounter, is the first public skyspace in Latin America. The work continues to express James Turell’s interest in light, colour and empty white space through programmed lighting within a domed enclosure and a small opening that frames the sky. This is further explored within the exhibition’s brand identity treatment, created by graphic design studio Savvy, using panels of ink, regions of unprinted space, blind emboss, glossy surfaces and a mix of type and image.
