Brand identity, print and signage by Copenhagen design studio Republic for pop-up art gallery Gold—Smidt Assembly

Gold—Smidt Assembly is a Copenhagen-based pop-up art gallery that exhibits contemporary fine art across the globe, and offers a consultation service, collaborating with professional artists to curate sculptural pieces for commercial, public and residential spaces. Danish design studio Re-public worked with the gallery to develop a visual identity that would link a variety of assets that included signage, print communication and website, and accommodate and support changing artistic themes.

Collect by Spin, United Kingdom (Preview)

Brand identity and print for contemporary international art fair Collect, designed by Spin, London, UK

Collect is an international art fair that will take place between the 2–6 of February 2017 at London’s Saatchi Gallery. Presented by the Crafts Council, Collect will give visitors the chance to see and buy museum-quality and contemporary ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood, metal and textiles created by established and emerging artists and makers represented by over thirty of the world’s best galleries.

Collect’s brand identity, designed by Spin, draws character, play and visual interest from an economical use of a single and fairly austere font, and a black and white colour palette, and went on to include print communication, as documented here, art direction, animation, advertising, signage and environmental graphics.

Brand identity and pastel coloured paper and coper block foil business cards for Brooklyn based art and design advisory business LeMise by DIA

LeMise is a Brooklyn based art and design advisory business, established by Andi Potamkin, described as being guided by the concept of mise­-en­-scene. LeMise considers the environment as a whole and works with its clients to bring together works of art and design, drawn from a vast network of designers and artists, to enhance space.

New York graphic design studio DIA worked with Andi to develop a visual identity for LeMise. This embodies Andi’s personality and eclectic taste, and expressed through characterful type, a warm and current colour palette of pastels and copper, a monogram and framing device across business cards, stationery and website.
