Echo is an American investment firm founded by, and working for, ‘Millennial’ entrepreneurs in the consumer packaged goods sector. The firm emerged from the Denver based Consolidated Investment Group with a mission to support and collaborate with young trend-setting companies with revenue streams between $1m and $10m, and products that are innovative, first-to-market, have positive social impact and good ethical standards.
Echo’s brand identity, created by Californian graphic design studio Trüf, mixes a bold geometric logotype, logo animation and patterns with multiple weights of Gotham with the intention of conveying the firm’s forward-thinking and Generation Y nature whilst maintaining a consistent professional image.
Meteorologisk Institutt provides meteorological data to Norway’s military, civil services and the general public with the intention of safe guarding life, property and the environment. Design agency Neue developed a new visual identity solution for the institute that mixes geometric shapes, material and print choices and the humanistic and environmental detail of photography to achieve communicative and aesthetic contrast and capture the data drawn from the harsh Nordic weather and the impact its gathering has on the people of the country.
Bau recently commissioned Greek multidisciplinary design agency Mousegraphics to develop a new packaging solution for their building material range that would convey construction in a simple, modern, distinctive way to both professionals and hobbyists. Taking inspiration from the video game Tetris, Mousegraphics created a striking packaging solution that utilises the iconic four block form of Tetriminos and a distinctive fluorescent ink print treatment to neatly resolve the themes of individual creativity and commercial construction in a contemporary way.
