Branding by Salad for British hamper business Virginia Hayward

Virginia Hayward is a family run business that creates hampers and gifts for both the retail and wholesale markets. It began life 30 years ago, from home, on a kitchen table, and has developed into one of the largest hamper companies working in the UK today.

With ambitious plans for growth, Virginia Hayward worked with Bournemouth and London based graphic design studio Salad to reimagine and resolve what had become a diluted set of assets across a variety of touch points with a new brand identity system. This system went on to include a new logotype, colour palette, campaign brochure, seasonal photography, business card design and website.

Hardpop 7 Years by Face, Mexico

Silver foil invitation designed by Face for world-renowned Mexican electronic music venue Hardpop

Hardpop is an electronic music venue located in the Mexican city of Juárez. It plays host to both international and national DJ’s and has been acknowledged twice by DJ Magazine as one of the best clubs in the world. Hardpop’s brand identity, a contemporary interpretation of military insignia, and a mix of conventional and unconventional typographic forms created by graphic design studio Face—a significant departure from its previous identity—draws its inspiration from an interior of classic and modern detail. To celebrate the venue’s seventh bithday, Face created a number of anniversary specials and a new flyer system that would fit neatly within Hardpop’s signature style.

Green and gold foiled business cards by Mucho for Spanish boutique travel agent Ona

Ona is a Spanish boutique travel agent providing its clients with personal, unique and private tours, day trips and stays in Barcelona and Catalonia. Its experienced guides offer professional insight into local culture, gastronomy, history, architecture, art and design, and provide round-the-clock assistance. Ona’s brand identity, designed by Mucho and based around the tagline “Tailored travel experiences”, is an unusual and distinctive mix of interactive monogram, business cards with light marble and green block foil detail, a website of light and then tinted photography, and monolinear iconography.
