Jealous Sweets is a gelatine and gluten-free confectionery range made with natural fruit juices and no artificial flavours or colours. Design agency B&B studio were recently commissioned to develop a new visual identity and packaging solution for the range that would focus more on its premium position and purity of ingredients. Developed under the theme of ‘covetable candy’ – “a concept that we visualised using a precious jewel icon and a characterful Magpie with an eye for something special”, B&B’s solution juxtaposes classic flourishes and plenty of unprinted space with bright contemporary colour and illustrative detail.
Tabarka Studio specialises in ‘detail-oriented’ and handcrafted tiles made from terracotta, a ‘clay-based ceramic earthenware that becomes porous when fired creating a worn-out, antique finish’. Anagrama, the design agency responsible for the studio’s visual identity and collateral, describe their approach as embracing an ‘archaic timelessness’ that reflects the products through the use of a blue and white scale pattern, tiled icon and a heavy, tactile and porous substrate.
Tourean is a British multinational venture capital firm that manages a variety of lifestyle subsidiaries within the music, design, events, social media and fashion industries. Their new visual identity, developed by design agency Anagrama and drawing inspiration from the Tourean name – a compounding of the words taurean and tour created to convey the values of strength, fortitude, courage and integrity as well as the company’s worldwide reach – fuses Gotham Black and Copperplate Gothic into a single logo-type described by the agency as ‘modern and earnest’ and sets it within the context of a ‘serious and somber’ colour palette and the high qualities of heavy paper with debossed surface textures and gold foil detailing.
