Branding for Clay — Museum of Ceramic Art Denmark by Studio Claus Due

Clay is a museum of ceramic arts and crafts, located in the Danish town of Middelfart, west of the capital. Exhibits range from a 235 year old plate to more recent and experimental pieces from contemporary artists. The museum worked with Studio Claus Due to develop a new visual identity system. This included business cards, stationery, signage, packaging, print communication and website, unified by an earthy colour palette and custom typography, punctuated by shots of blue and yellow, and featuring uncoated materials.

UAL 2016–17 Campaign by Spy, United Kingdom

Graphic design by Spy for the University of the Arts London

The University of the Arts London is Europe’s largest specialist arts and design university. It is made up of six colleges, each with its own unique character and programme, yet unified in their effort to deliver a high quality creative eduction. This united position is expressed through a visual identity system developed by Pentagram partner Domenic Lippa. Based around a robust, black and white typographic system, UAL’s visual identity affords each college the opportunity to experiment with its own approach to visual communication.

This month sees the launch of the UAL 2015 campaign, developed by London based graphic design studio Spy, for Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon. Spy were commissioned to develop a vibrant, engaging brand campaign to launch in the summer that would drive student recruitment and brand awareness. The campaign included ads, posters, digital banners, brochures, prospectus, e-flyers and way finding around each campus.

Casa Bosques Chocolate designed by Savvy

Packaging with emboss and sticker details designed by Savvy for Casa Bosques' new line of seasonal chocolates

Casa Bosques is an initiative, founded by Mexico based design studio Savvy, to develop a variety of seasonal and sustainable products through a collaborative process across multiple disciplines. The initiative’s first product line, a range of 12 chocolates inspired by the months of the year, were created by master chocolatier Jorge Llanderal using high quality Ecuadorian cocoa fused with spices selected by experts.
