Aura is a new range of high end products from door sealing system manufacturer and specialist Lorient. These include drop seals, perimeter seals, door bottom seals, threshold plates and ramps designed with a distinctive curved profile that is described by Lorient as creating a sophisticated visual aesthetic that also spreads and diffuses sound. Design studio Believe In recently worked with Lorient to develop a brand identity for the Aura range, which went to include logotype, launch brochure and sample pack design with holographic foil detail, and product photography.

Club at South Place Hotel designed by This Is Colt

Print with a mix of coloured uncoated papers with die cut and holographic foil detail for South Place Hotel's private members club designed by This Is Colt

Club is an exclusive private members area hidden from the public within London’s South Place Hotel. Its visual identity, developed by This Is Colt and designed to establish a connection with the parent brand but with “a personality of its own”, is built around a logotype constructed from the same contemporary, condensed sans-serif characters of the hotel’s identity but is paired with a morse code underline detail and executed as a holographic foil print treatment across a variety of coloured papers.

254 Forest is a Brussels-based creative studio – run by Claire Silva Moreira, Frederic Ameel, Jean-Stéphane Garbe, Ismael Moumin and international videographer Pierre Debusschere – that works within the fields of photography, film, music production and post production. Their visual identity, developed by graphic design agency Codefrisko, utilises a distinctive combination of a pearlesque substrate and holographic block foil treatment across the studio’s business card, the contrast of a sharp logo-type and blurred, 45 degree lightning strike – perhaps the flash of a bulb, the energy necessary for creative endeavour or the presentation of perspective -, and the website’s clear sense of foreground and background, to neatly resolve the depth of focus and changing light of still and moving images. Avoiding the more obvious and literal visualisations of the industry.
