Brand identity and print for contemporary international art fair Collect, designed by Spin, London, UK

Collect is an international art fair that will take place between the 2–6 of February 2017 at London’s Saatchi Gallery. Presented by the Crafts Council, Collect will give visitors the chance to see and buy museum-quality and contemporary ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood, metal and textiles created by established and emerging artists and makers represented by over thirty of the world’s best galleries.

Collect’s brand identity, designed by Spin, draws character, play and visual interest from an economical use of a single and fairly austere font, and a black and white colour palette, and went on to include print communication, as documented here, art direction, animation, advertising, signage and environmental graphics.

Brand identity and illustrated beer mats for Moi Helsinki by Bond, Finland

Moi Helsinki welcomes visitors to the Finnish city of Helsinki, and offers a place to relax after a long journey, with an extensive menu of beers and snacks from its location in the arrivals lobby at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

The bar features an interior design of light wood and bright neon signage, alongside dark walls, furniture and tiles. Where there are moments of utility in form and furnishing, brand identity, through lettering and illustration, offers something in the way of the personable with a strong sense of place. This extends across interior graphics, menus, branded beer glasses and coasters, all designed by local studio Bond.

Jalm & B by Kontrapunkt, Denmark

Brand Identity and packaging for Danish bakery brand Jalm & B by Kontrapunkt

Jalm & B is a collaborative effort between baking experts Il Fornaio and Trianon to bring the taste and quality of big city bakeries to people throughout Denmark with a range of premium frozen products that can be freshly baked at home. Copenhagen and Tokyo-based graphic design studio and packaging specialist Kontrapunkt worked with the brand to convey the baking heritage of those behind it through naming, and the craft and quality of the range through image, illustration, type, colour, layout and structure.
