MidNight is an “innovative” range of cocktail boxes that intend to “revolutionize the way people create cocktails both in bars and at home”. Design studio Mucho were commissioned to develop packaging and brand identity for MidNight that would “retain the tradition and elegance of cocktail making” whilst reflecting the new method of storing and serving. Based on the geometric reinterpretation of the ‘M’ and the ‘N’ Mucho created a graphic system of triangles. This mixes classic fruit engravings with bright colour to generate a kaleidoscopic visual language that weaves together a sense of traditional craft and quality, and an exciting and modern cocktail making experience.

Logo and blind emboss stationery for San Francisco-based architecture studio Síol created by Mucho

San Francisco-based architecture studio Síol recently commissioned multidisciplinary design agency Mucho to develop a new visual identity solution that would embody “their philosophy of conceptual, clean architecture for both interior and exterior design.” Based around a customised sans-serif logotype executed as a blind deboss, the identity conveys the familiar architectural themes of light and shadow formed within three-dimensional space and a practical, corporate efficiency.

Fisix designed by Mucho

Packaging designed by Mucho for sports shower range Fisix

Fisix is a line of cosmetic products that includes shower gels, shampoos and hydrating skin balms, developed by four marathon running friends who ‘couldn’t find a range that met their needs as sportsmen’, branded and packaged by multidisciplinary design agency Mucho.

Mucho’s design solution unties the diagrammatic, geometric forms and typographical, sans-serif utility and neutrality of the pharmaceutical and sports science industries with the subtle fashion and on-trend design sensibilities of a tightly spaced, lowercase serif logotype, italics, and a flat, economical, unisex grey and pastel colour palette. A smart balance of formulated effectiveness and the more exclusive, restrained qualities associated with high fashion and professional cosmetics.
