Onsagers is an Oslo based consultancy that specialises in the protection of intellectual property through patents, trademarks, design and law. Since its establishment in 1945 Onsagers has grown, aided by merger with Defensor in 1997, to become one of Norway’s leading IPR firms. Its new identity, developed by brand and packaging design agency Uniform earlier this year, is a simple but bold combination of a mono-line weight logo-type, icons and a striking, authoritative, white, black and bright yellow colour palette.
This week sees the launch of Barcelona-based brand and graphic design agency Lo Siento’s new visual identity. Created out-of-house by international studio Mucho, the solution blends a modern serif logo-type with a reductionist approach to letter-forms through reification and an industrial, hand-stenciled treatment across the business cards to visualise an unusual industrial and artisan design philosophy.
Penny Royal Films is a UK based collaborative production studio that provides live action, motion graphics, sound and interactive design, branding and concept development services to the film, television and online industries. Earlier this year graphic design studio Alphabetical developed a new visual identity for Penny Royal Films which confidently mixes the practical sensibilities of a stencil cut PR monogram and a distinctive high quality copper foil print finish.
