Hamptons House is a Sydney based curator and retailer of furniture and homeware collections that celebrate the unexpected and draw influence from renowned New York holiday destination The Hamptons. Design studio Moffitt.Moffitt were recently engaged by the retailer to develop a new visual identity — which went on to include logo and logotype design, illustration, shopping bags, packaging, swing tags, stationery and membership key — that would reinforce the brand’s sophisticated proposition as well as conveying some of its eccentricity.
Numbered is a range of handcrafted home-ware products and individual commissions, created by Basque product, space and graphic designer Martín Azúa, that explore the relationship between functionality, emotion and conceptual thinking, and blur the line between tradition and innovation. A limited and controlled production context, personalisation and a connection to the local environment bring further value to each object and influence their form, material and manufacture. These values are referenced in a new brand identity solution developed by Barcelona based design studio P.A.R which included logotype, custom script, business cards and swing tag design.
Håndværk is a New York based clothing brand that mixes craftmanship, minimal elegance, premium materials and innovative fabrics to produce high quality everyday essentials for both men and women.
Designed by Savvy, Håndværk’s new brand identity—which includes a logo, swing tags and packaging solution with a blind emboss detail—conveys the brand’s elegant and elemental nature with what Savvy describe as clean lines and a simple typographic approach based on “minimal scandinavian and japanese aesthetics”.
