Futurebrand
2026, India, Charity
The Vicente Ferrer Foundation is a non-governmental development organisation based in India committed to the process of transformation, and the empowerment of the poorest and most discriminated rural areas. The organisation was founded in 1969 and its new logo, designed by Futurebrand, could have easily come from the same decade, no shade, just in that it embodies the modernist logo design principles of the time. Figurative (it’s people), symbolic (it’s community support) and highly practical in that its simplicity allowing it to be severely reduced or scaled up (could postive space weighting in relation to the negative space) to suit a whole host of applications without degrading legibility. Having run LogoArchive for over a decade, I’ve seen a lot of logos like this, but this feels sufficiently distinctive.
