With years of mergers and acquisitions, new technologies, and private equity growth, Usalco had moved beyond aluminium manufacturing, positioning itself as an essential catalyst for clean water.

A decade of expansion and mergers vastly increase the functional requirements of a logo – from large format building signage, to vehicle liveries and down to corporate stationery. Finding the balance between simplicity, distinction and usability became key concerns.

Designed by Matchstic, the new Usalco logo addresses these concerns by combining a letterform and water droplet, putting the brand’s focus front-and-centre. Further, an allusion to the impact or ‘ripple’ made by Usalco on the water treatment industry adds a conceptual layer that weaves it into a broader strategic direction of the brand.
