Agua de Madre by Chris Chapman
It seems you can’t move for well-designed, wellness-adjacent alcohol-free drinks brands right now. In the past couple of months alone we’ve covered a nightlife inspired Yerba Maté that went hard on Big Drink NRG and Rolus, a new botanically enhanced entry into the (apparently) burgeoning ‘braincare beverage’ category. Making it a hat-trick is London-brewed water kefir brand Agua de Madre’s...
Uniqode by Koto
If we wanted to be poetic about it, we could describe QR codes as the inhabitants of the pixel-thin gap between our physical and digital realities; the conduit between IRL and URL. Once a novelty, perennially often a bit of a pain in the arse, they really came into their own during the pandemic when suddenly things like handling paper...
Veikkausliiga by Bond
How do you bring the fans, teams, and stadiums of the northernmost league together under a shared identity that captures the energy and passion that defines it? For Bond (Saaristo, Cable Factory & Northstar Film Alliance), the answer was in plain sight… the scarf – strewn across the terraces, held high, no matter the team or the weather. Veikkausliiga is...

Norwegian by Try, 2024
As the flag carrier, projecting a clear identity on the tarmac of other countries is important. Perhaps more so, is the continuity of this identity throughout a vast number of surfaces. Few industries have quite as many and as varied range of collaterals. Take for example, the thermal printing of tickets, the large scale of plane liveries, not to mention...
Ambassaden by Bleed
Designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, the Ambassaden’s angular modernist stature holds a striking presence in the heart of Oslo. When it opened in 1959, it functioned as the US embassy until its closure in the early 2000s. Fast-forward to today – the building has been reopened and its programming altered. It now operates as a multi-functional space that includes...

Bancomat by Pier Paolo Cornieti & Landor, 2025
Italian bank Bancomat’s first logo, designed in 1983 by Pier Paolo Cornieti depicted a seagull intersecting the initial ‘B’ inside a blue diamond, an allusion the freedom of withdrawals and payments outside bank opening hours with the introduction of ATMs. This has been updated throughout the years, in 1995 and then again in 2021 and 2025 with Landor stepping in...
Full Pin by Rethink
Since 2020, engineers-turned-mushroom entrepreneurs Vathana Len and Daniel Vogt have been growing the fanciest mushrooms I’ve ever seen, from their shiny urban greenhouse in Montreal. From Pholiote adipeuse to King eryngii (I don’t know what those are either) and everything in between, Full Pin’s mushrooms are cultivated with meticulous precision and at an impressive rate – over 700 pounds per...
Logo
International by Kurppa Hosk, 2025
International began life as International Harvester, a manufacturer of tractors and farming equipment for agriculture. Since its founding in 1902, the business has expanded to include trucks, busses and all variety of road vehicles. From 1946, International Harvester, renamed to just International, was represented by an IH monogram, composed stylistically to evoke the front profile of a tractor. This was...

ChatGPT & OpenAI by Ben Barry & Ludwig Pettersson, 2025
The initial ChatGPT logo was designed by Ben Barry and Ludwig Pettersson. While not conceptually all that interesting, it set the look and feel of many other AI projects that followed it, so significant more for its influence, and increasing ubiquity. In 2025, in an effort to formalise the OpenAI visual identity, a rebrand introduced a revised logo. This was...
Rolus by Re
Back in the early 00s – the era when arguably Hollyoaks was at its zenith, and bellybutton piercings their most bejeweled – Botox was gradually emerging from the hushed clinics of Harley Street and LA to become part of common parlance. As such, brands cottoned on to the word’s ‘eternal youth’ connotations: I distinctly remember a shampoo ad promising that...
Logo
TwelveLabs by Pentagram, 2025
Technology gallops on with a new video reading AI model Twelve Labs. Pentagram’s use of positive and negative space, allusions to packets of data, and stunning animation that nods to Eadweard Muybridge’s galloping horse from 1878 – an early photographic motion study – is pure joy. This stylisation, blending information and animation, beautifully conveys progress: bold strides forward, technological evolution,...

Eventbrite by Buck, 2025
With a renewed mission to “bring people together through live experiences” and “maximize the enjoyment of gathering” global events platform Eventbrite worked with Buck to develop a new visual identity, beginning with the design of a logo. This takes on the form of an energetic bolt with a sense of forward momentum alluding to the dynamism, electricity and rhythms of...
