Mikkeller + Bedow is a limited edition beer with a four seasons theme created by Danish brewery Mikkeller with packaging created by Stockholm-based graphic and product design studio Bedow.
April saw the launch of the Brewery’s first variety, Pale Spring Ale which features a simple, grid-based sans-seriif typographic layout, silver and white colour palette and a geometrically neat heat sensitive illustration that turns from snowflake into the sun.
Summer saw the launch of the Brewery’s second variety, Summer Pilsner. Like the first the label features a simple, grid-based layout, sans-serif typography, silver and white colour palette and a heat sensitive print treat which, in keeping with the theme is based around blooming flowers with a similarly executed geometric approach.
October saw the launch of the Brewery’s third variety Autumn Porter which features a simple, grid-based typographic layout, silver and white colour palette and a heat sensitive geometric illustration in which dandelion seeds turn into raindrops.
December saw the launch of the brewery’s fourth a final variety Wild Winter Ale, this time with a heat sensitive tree illustration that looses its leaves.
