Holvi is a digital bank account created for entrepreneurs and micro-businesses with the intention of making banking, paperless bookkeeping and invoicing simpler and more efficient. Holvi is positioned as more than just a digital bank account, and comes with a plethora of integrated features. These include the seamless syncing of information between different systems, sending invoices in a few clicks, a way to set up online sales, and save and record receipts.
Scandinavian design studio Werklig helped Holvi to develop its strategy and graphic identity as it continues its expansion further into Europe. Working with key personnel, the studio identified and refined Holvi’s values, defined brand tonality, fine-tuned competitive advantages and clarified market positioning.
Holvi is personal and professional, a cheerful and reliable utility. This is expressed by its new graphic identity. Using simple form language, a soft and modern colour palette and Cartographe Sans, Werklig finds a smart intersection between the mechanical and the playful. This links a variety of printed assets such as business cards, stationery, merchandise and tote bags, and digital experiences that included website and mobile app.

Loyal Coffee is a barista-owned and operated specialty coffee shop located in Colorado Springs. It features a high ceiling, exposed beams and concrete surfaces, natural material detail such as tree trunk stools, and crafted finishes that include a mosaic floor, carved wood panel and what looks like a ghost sign. Drawing on this, the surrounding landscape, and the loyal bond that the six founders share, design studio Mast created a visual identity for Loyal Coffee. This is built around landscape references, the crafted details but geometric foundations of custom typography, and a modernity in colour and in the assembly of individual graphic elements online and in print across coffee cups, packaging, merchandise, menus.

Ki Sunscreen was developed by national skincare clinic Caci to protect against the harsh New Zealand sun, and the skin damage and premature ageing that UVA and UVB rays can cause. It is made from the latest generation of ingredients proven to protect, and those that help to control oils and maintain a matt finish. This balance between clinically proven effectiveness and cosmetic mindfulness is expressed by its brand identity and packaging design, developed by Auckland studio Akin, in the meeting of bold black logotype, and the material interaction between uncoated paper and print finish.
