Napier Street by Studio Hi Ho

Campaign identity and brochure design by Studio Hi Ho for Mileu property development Napier in Fitzroy, Melbourne Australia

231 Napier Street is an eleven apartment building, now sold out, created by property developer Milieu, set with the culturally rich part of Fitzroy, Melbourne. It is their first collaboration with architect Edition Office—an innovative practice with a strong conceptual focus—and part of the developer’s ongoing enquiry into and interrogation of the dialogue between architecture and place. This interrogation forms the basis of 213 Napier Street’s brochure, designed by Studio Hi Ho; two books bound together, placed side-by-side delivering a juxtapositional concept of architectural structure and neighbourhood context expressed through the interplay of photography, text, surface and materiality.

Schubertíada Vilabertran by Mucho

Schubertíada is an annual festival run by Associació Franz Schubert that celebrates the works of the 19th-century Austrian Romantic composer Franz Schubert. This takes place in the Spanish municipality of Vilabertran in July. The festival includes a programme of chamber concerts, lied recitals, instrumental solos and lectures.

Schubert is known, not just for his compositions, but for his contribution to Lieder; German poetry set to classical music, and for his reconfiguration of the classical concert, developing it into a more intimate experience with a smaller audience. This format is known as Schubertiades, and is where the festival derives its name.

With this historical context in mind; 19th Century romanticism, the smaller more intimate gatherings and pioneering view of Franz Schubert, design studio Mucho developed a visual identity for the festival that focuses on vision, enduring legacy, a continued relevance and the personable in the confluence of iconography, illustration, colour and print finish.

Korea International Art Fair 2018 by Studio fnt

Visual identity of posters, catalogues, programmes, tickets and banners by Studio fnt for Korea International Art Fair 2018

Each year KIAF plays host to and brings to the Korea domestic market the artworks of international artists and galleries. This year, the 17th Korea International Art Fair took place between the 4–7 October in the city of Seoul.

With a desire to become the pre-eminent art platform of South Korea, serve as a conduit between the Asian and international art scene, and function as a tool in which to introduce vibrant new Korean art to a global audience of curators and collectors KIAF seeks out, collates and presents the groundbreaking and thought-provoking.

Studio fnt worked with KIAF to develop a new visual identity for the fair. With such a wide variety of works on display; those of different origins, techniques, physicalities and modes of expression, the confluence of spot colour, proportionality and abundance serve as a unifying visual language that links posters, catalogues, tickets, banners and tote bags.
