One Planet Living is an initiative to promote sustainable practices and help influence global environmental policies. The initiative’s new identity, developed by Swiss agency Demian Conrad Design, replaces a tired, blue earth, green heart logo-mark and dull typography with a more distinctive and professional logo-type solution, an earthy, unbleached substrate and a contemporary, single white, print treatment.
Inspiron is a PC, laptop and all-in-one range from electronics manufacturer and on-line retailer Dell. UK and US based multidisciplinary design studio Dowling Duncan, now Mucho, working in collaboration with Dell’s Visual Identity and Brand Experience team, developed a new packaging system for the Inspirion range confidently mixing technological cues, functionality and a craft-like aesthetic.
HEMA is an international retailer established in 1926 with over 400 shops across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxumberg and Germany. HEMA typically sells own brand products across a variety of categories including clothing, food, gardening tools, office supplies and homeware. Studio Kluif has been involved in the branding and packaging of these products since 2002 and this year was responsible for creating the packaging for the new bedding range ‘Dekbed’. Following the playful and loose illustrative style utilised across other Hema ranges, Studio Kluif has crafted a detailed ‘to-bed’ visual narrative confidently executed in a single colour.
