The sun has been depicted in many ways and across millennia, and has been a motif mined thoroughly by designers since the dawn of corporate identity design. It’s difficult to imagine where a designer might take it today in order to achieve both similicity and distinctiveness. Drawing on the strategic positioning ‘building blocks for a lower carbon future’ Buddy Buddy offers a take on the radiant essence of the sun, and containing this within blocks that form the stable shape of a triangle. The visual language is simple and the form unique, with an interplay of positive and negative space reflecting Antora Energy’s containment and storage of thermal energy. What a delight.
