Historically speaking, the human figure has been a rendered in countless ways, transforming biology into a symbolic and figurative form for numerous corporate activities, from athletics to fashion to community. There are countless ways to render such a form, with varying degrees of abstraction and effectiveness. Koto’s logo for Huma follows in the footsteps of the modernist corporate identity designers of the early and mid 20th century. Harmony, balance and a bit of art are wrapped into the simple figure derived from the Vitruvian Man. Rendered with a lightness of line, and some pleasant curves, the effect is calm, formal and rationalised in a way that is well-suited to the intersection of tech and human wellness.
