Logotype by Stockholm-based Bold for Arlanda Airport restaurant Pontus In The Air

Pontus In The Air is located at Sweden’s Arlanda Airport and was developed with the intention of being Europe’s leading airport restaurant in its blend of high quality, affordable prices and fast service. It features three distinct areas, The Brasserie, a classic bistro with table service inspired by the golden days of aviation, The Market, a self-service canteen with a more utilitarian finish, and Take-off, an area dedicated to take-ways.

Owners Pontus Frithof, a Swedish company founded by renowned chef Pontus Stenshäll, worked with Stockholm-based graphic design studio Bold, following their collaboration on city restaurant Tidningshuset by Pontus, to create a name and visual identity for this latest project. Inspired by chef Pontus Stenshäll’s colourful and charismatic character, the movement and energy of the airport, and with a desire to work together luxury and an element of humour, Bold crafted an identity of typographical play yet simplicity, and convivial illustrative detail. This links business cards, menus, mobile app, interior graphics and website.

Talor&Jørgen Coffee by Bielke & Yang, Norway

Packaging design by Olso-based Bielke & Yang for Norwegian coffee roastery and subscription service Talor & Jørgen

Talor&Jørgen is a Norwegian speciality coffee roastery and coffee subscription service delivering small boxes of freshly roasted beans, sourced from across the globe, to subscribers based on their drinking habits rather than to a schedule. Product naming focuses on bringing to the forefront flavour notes rather than bean provenance, variety and preparation (although this is online and on pack) with the intention of making speciality coffee far more accessible and addressing the divide that exists within the Norwegian market. The range changes seasonally and currently includes Apricot & Black Tea, Blackcurrant & Sugar Snap Pea and Elderflower & Butter, sourced from Kenya and Ethiopia. Talor&Jørgen’s packaging design, developed by Oslo-based studio Bielke & Yang, expresses the accessible intentions of brand and freshness of its coffee in the distinctive pairing of a small robust structural choice that holds 250g, and the tone and content of Janne Iivonen’s illustrative work.

Víspera Coffee by Stockholm Design Lab, Sweden

Packaging created by Stockholm Design Lab for Víspera Coffee, a range of 100% Arabica beans sourced from the high altitude plantations of Columbia.

Víspera is premium coffee brand that intends to bring together the best of two worlds, a blend of 100% Arabica coffee beans sourced from the high altitude plantations of Colombia and a Swedish eye for quality and craftsmanship in its roasting. This meeting is visually articulated through type contrast, colour and pattern across Víspera’s packaging, developed by Stockholm Design Lab.
